One of the famous proverbs in Persian language and of course in English is : No pains,No Gains.I think every person in his life faces this proverb and feel it.I,myself has faced this several times during my life.
Now I am going to talk about my brother and how this proverb has came true for him.My brother,Behdad,is 25 years old.He is 170cm high and last year he was 100kg.As these numbers show he was not in a good shape and his weight was not proportional to his high.According to standards BMI the ideal weight for him should be something between 60-65 and he should lose at least 30kg.How could he do it?It is very difficult and sometimes out of reach.
Behdad suffered from pain because of this problem.First of all,it was very difficult for him to find suitable clothes and a lot of problems that were made by this condition.Moreover we were scared of his future and the diseases that can be made by it.My family and I were completely disappointed and thought that he could not lose his weight.
One day,Behdad came home with a invoice that showed he bought a Tread-mill.He decided to do exercise at home rather than going to gym.He wrote two nutritious and athletic schedules for himself.In his nutritious schedule firstly, he eliminated salty and sweety things that consist of artificial sugar like candy and ….Secondly, he omitted the foods that have carbohydrate like rice,potato ant spaghetti.Thirdly, he put away any kind of fatty foods with high calories like fast food.He just ate the foods that had protein like vegtables,grains and fruits.Moreover most of the time when he became hungry he drank water and it is better to say that he ate nothing.It was really difficult specially for a gluttonous person.His athletic schedule started from 6am in the morning when he went to the park for running for about one hour.In the afternoon he did it again but this time at home on tread-mill for about one hour and after that he did some exercise for his pot belly like sit-up.The third time was at midnight when he started to run again at home.He did his schedule continously for six months.What was the result? It was incredible but he lost 30kg of his weight and reach to 70kg. from that time he has been doing some exercises continously and he could keep his weight at 70kg.Now he is very satisfied with his body because he is really fit and is a good looking.
Losing 30kg is not impossible but it is very hard and difficult.We should try hard and hard,suffer pains and be patient.We can develop this proverb and example in the various conditions of our life and our wishes.Nature has awarded human beings a powerful force which can help us to be supreme. Every successes certainly will not out of reach.We just need to work hard,improve our knowledge with study and suffer hardships.
